Meet the Moorestown Council – Councilmember Quinton Law
(Moorestown’s first African American Council member)
Council member Quinton Law will speak briefly about his goals for the year, followed by a Q&A session. Please register.
Saturday, February 27, 4 p.m.-5 p.m.
How to Talk to your Children about Racism – Naja Macon
Wondering when, what, and how much to say to your children about racism? This presentation will lay out tips and tools for conversations with children from birth to high school. It will also include recommended resources followed by a short Q&A. Please register.
The library also has hundreds of virtual and print resources celebrating the lives of African Americans. Library displays and online collections include “Black Freedom Struggle in the United States: A selection of freely available primary sources” from the library’s website.
