Moorestown Library Seeks Volunteers for Summer Reading Program

Students entering eighth grade or higher are eligible to volunteer.

The Moorestown Library is looking for responsible, reliable teens who like working with children to be listeners in the Summer Reading Program.

Anyone who’s interested can sign up for a training session to learn more.Students who attend training will have first chance to choose their schedule. The training is recommended for all volunteers, and is required for new volunteers.

Students entering eighth grade or higher are eligible to volunteer.

Training sessions are scheduled as follows:

Wednesday, May 20 at 7 p.m.

Thursday, May 21 at 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 23 at 3 p.m.

Volunteer sign-up for those not attending orientation begins Tuesday, May 26.

Volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts during the following times:

June 19 - August 15: Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturdays in June: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturdays in July and August: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
