Moorestown Man Baffled By Trump's History, Geography Knowledge
Edwin Begg writes that he was surprised by some of the things President Trump recently said concerning history, geography and meteorology.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown resident Edwin Begg was scratching his head after some recent statements made by President Donald Trump that made him not only rethink history, but also his knowledge of geography and the art of weather predictions. His letter to the editor can be found below.
To the Editor:
We are deeply indebted to President Trump for being our meteorologist, historian and geographer. Over the past months, he revealed things we never knew before. As Hurricane Dorian approached the U.S. mainland, meteorologist Trump stated that Alabama would be hit. A professional TV station meteorologist reported that Alabama was “bone dry.” We all know how difficult it is to predict the weather.

His 4th of July speech about the Revolutionary War was a stunner. He said: “Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rockets’ red glare, it had nothing but victory.”
And here everyone thought that Orville and Wilbur Wright didn’t fly at Kitty Hawk until 1903, some 130 years after the Revolutionary War. Same thing regarding Fort McHenry. That was part of the Battle of Baltimore during the War of 1812, some 40 years later.

At his Pittsburgh speech on October 23, we learned about walls and geography. He said: “We’re building a wall on the border of New Mexico, and we’re building a wall in Colorado.” Someone should tell him that Colorado is approximately 350 miles from the Mexican border and is surrounded by Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. It looks like Border Control agents will really be busy. There are now only 45 other states left to be walled.
