Moorestown Man Ran from Cops, Resisted Arrest: Police

Also, Moorestown Police arrest a Maple Shade man who allegedly swiped a purse at the Mooreston Mall, then fought with store security.

  • William Clifford, 26, of Stiles Avenue, Maple Shade, arrested after he swiped a purse from a shopping cart at Boscov's at the Moorestown Mall, then resisted when store security tried to detain him, according to police. Clifford was also found in possession of a hypodermic syringe. He was charged with robbery, theft and possession of a syringe and committed to Burlington County Jail on $30,000 bail. 

June 4

  • Anthony Galiazzi, 30, of North Church Street, Moorestown, arrested after he ran from police during a vehicle stop at Park Boulevard and Locust Street, according to a report. Galiazzi, who had a previous run-in with police in April, was a passenger in the vehicle. He exited and ran from police, then resisted when they tried to take him into custody, police said. Galiazzi was charged with resisting arrest and committed to Burlington County Jail on $2,500 bail.
