Moorestown Man Tackles Diversity in First Children's Book
"You Look Great!" by Bob Wolff was recently published on Amazon.com.

A Moorestown man’s “quiet” nine-year dream-inspired project reached its conclusion in the form of a children’s book about accepting others for who they are.
“You Look Great!” by Bob Wolff is now available online at Amazon.com.
The book documents the adventures of two woodland creatures who are unhappy with their appearances.

Raymond the rabbit and Freddie the fox embark on an adventure in which they meet other animals who are also unhappy with themselves. They learn to accept themselves for who they are and have fun along the way.
Wolff, 59, a Moorestown resident since 2001, said the idea came to him in a dream in 2005.

“I immediately wrote my first rough draft,” Wolff said in an email. “That is where it all started.”
The characters in the book overcome a number of challenges, something Wolff believes life is all about.
According to his biography on Amazon, Wolff learned countless life lessons through activities with other children who came from different backgrounds and faced their own challenges. He remains friends with many of them to this day.
His own daughter overcame the challenge of being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease as a child. She is now 25 and works as a Project Coordinator at Rutgers University.
“She’s been amazing through it all,” Wolff said.
Wolff, a Pennsylvania State University graduate and Wissahickon High School graduate from Montgomery County, PA., said he would work on it from time-to-time before finally tackling the project seriously in 2013.
“I found an illustrator in Quebec who did an outstanding job,” Wolff said. “Then, I fine-tuned the manuscript over a year.”
He used a division of Amazon called CreateSpace, a self-publishing program, to help guide him through the publishing process.
Wolf works in sales for Proxus, a HR/Payroll Services company in Fort Washington, PA.
His wife, Vickie, 54, works as Para-Professional at Mary Roberts School in Moorestown.
They have two daughters: Christine and 22-year-old Kathleen. Kathleen works as a Neo-Natal ICU Nurse at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Wolff enjoyed writing the book and would enjoy writing another. However, “You Look Great!” was done “quietly.”
“The next one will need the wife’s formal approval,” Wolff said.
