Moorestown Man Who Served In Army Air Forces In 1940s Passes

Perry M. Trice passed away peacefully on April 2, 2020, at the age of 96.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Perry M. Trice passed away peacefully on April 2, 2020, at the age of 96. He was born on December 25, 1923, in Daingerfield Texas and grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Upon graduation from high school in 1941, Perry enlisted in the Army Air Forces with the 20th Bomber Command and served in India, China, Tinian and Guam. After four years of service, Perry moved to Moorestown, NJ, and worked for the Steward R. Maines Company for over 50 years.

Perry was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Shirley Trice. Perry is survived by three children: Douglas Trice and his wife Nancy of Blue Ridge, GA, Pamela Fox of Voorhees, NJ and Russell Trice and his wife Laurel, of Medford Lakes, NJ. Perry is also survived by four grandchildren: Perry and Trace Trice, Oxford AL, John and Katie Trice of Jamestown, NC, Wesley and Megan Trice of Plymouth, MN, Melanie Trice of Philadelphia, PA; and seven great grandchildren, Kelton Trice, Cleveland, TN, Em and Malcolm Smith, Oxford, AL, Thomas and Ivy Trice, Jamestown, NC and Lucy and James Trice, Plymouth, MN.

Due to present circumstances, interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association, Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge or charity of your choice.
