Moorestown Man Who Toured With Roy Buchanan Dies
Martin Thomas Hahn, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away at the age of 77 on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Martin Thomas Hahn, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away at the age of 77 on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
"Marty" was the oldest son of Martin and Anne Hahn also from Moorestown. He is survived by his beloved daughter Jennifer Locker and son Jason and brothers James and Charles. He was predeceased by brothers Thomas and Edward.
Marty graduated from Moorestown High School in 1961. He was in the US Army for 4 years as a reservist. His passion was music and his piano abilities defined his life dreams. He was a touring musician in various bands throughout the 60s and early 70s.

He toured with Blues legend Roy Buchanan for 3 years. Marty composed songs along the way including "Me and You," that was often heard on the TV show "All my Children." He released a CD of mostly originals and a few covers of Ray Charles whom he honed his piano skills after.
Marty was employed by Conrail up until his retirement as a block tower operator. He was a huge Railroad Buff. Marty will always be remembered for his quick wit and side splitting jokes. He truly was the life of the party.
