Moorestown, Moorestown Friends Field Hockey Teams Qualify for State Tournaments
Moorestown is the No. 1 seed in the Central Jersey Group III tournament.

Both the Moorestown High School and Moorestown Friends School field hockey teams will be playing for championships this season.
Moorestown is the No. 1 seed in the 12-team NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III tournament, according to nj.com. The Quakers will host either No. 8 Burlington Township or No. 9 Northern Burlington in the second round on Nov. 2.
Moorestown is 11-2-1 this season. Moorestown is 4-0 against its two possible second round opponents and it hasn’t allowed a goal in any of those four wins.

On Sept. 28, the Quakers defeated Burlington Township, 7-0, and on Sept. 30, the score was 5-0.
Moorestown defeated Northern Burlington, 7-0, on Sept. 24. It defeated Northern Burlington, 4-0, on Oct. 14.

The semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 4, and the championship game is scheduled for Nov. 6.
Moorestown Friends is the No. 10 seed in the NJSIAA Non-Public South Jersey tournament, according to nj.com. It will visit No. 7 Paul VI on Oct. 31.
Moorestown Friends is 7-6 this season. It has not played Paul VI this season.
The winner visits No. 2 Bishop Eustace in the second round. St. Joe’s Hammonton is the No. 1 seed.
The semifinals are set for Nov. 7 and the championship game is scheduled for Nov. 10.
