Moorestown Patch Letter To The Editor: Supporting Republican Council Candidates

Brandon Thompson writes about the successful records of the mayor and deputy mayor, and Mike Locatell's real-world experience.

To the Editor:

After looking into both slates of candidates running for Town Council, I am positive that the best choice for our town is Mike Locatell, Victoria Napolitano, and Phil Garwood.

Under the leadership of Victoria Napolitano and Phil Garwood, the new Town Hall and Library complex opened its doors and the municipal parking lot finally was redone on Second Street. They voted to lower our Township tax bill this year, saved our town $1.1 million on water, and managed to save money in our town budget without reducing services to the taxpayer, and while taking action to give Moorestown the clean water we deserve with one of the biggest infrastructure updates in our town’s history.

Combine their record with the real-world experience of Mike Locatell as a small business owner, and the next four years will continue to be strong years for progress in Moorestown. Mr. Locatell has joined with Mrs. Napolitano and Mr. Garwood in pledging to keep our taxes low, work to improve our town’s infrastructure and assets, fully support our town’s Police and Fire Departments, and continue the progress we are seeing with new businesses opening all over town. Their record and their platform - which are both on their website,www.MoorestownFirst.com - show that they are clearly the right choice for our town.

I urge everyone to join me in electing Mike Locatell, Victoria Napolitano, and Phil Garwood on November 8th. They are good people with a great plan for Moorestown, and they have certainly earned my support.
