Moorestown Patch Letter To The Editor: We Need A President Who Takes The Job Seriously
Moorestown resident Monique Begg says America needs a president ready for the responsibility that comes with being Commander-in-Chief.

To the Editor:
I woke up to bad news. Now President-elect Donald Trump is planning to cut back our intelligence services. (He tweets the word intelligence between quotation marks.)
Really? While campaigning for the Presidency, the same Donald Trump clamored for Hillary to be investigated thoroughly, his crowds of supporters chanting “Lock her up! Lock her up!”

Well, those were the good old days. Now he wants us to put it all behind us and move on. What can I say? Apparently, it has become an inconvenient truth.
Whatever his reasons, he no longer has an appetite for investigations and what they may reveal.

As far as he’s concerned, our government has no proof that the Russians have been spying on the USA. Besides, he knows who is behind the spying. And what’s more, Julian Assange of WikiLeaks agrees with his findings.
It’s time that We the People demand that the President-elect take his job seriously and stop tweeting like an immature high-school teenager. We do not need an entertainer-in-chief. We need a President who avails himself of all professional information available to him and is ready to assume the responsibility of commander-in-chief.
Sincerely,
Monique Begg
