Moorestown Police Deem Slices 4 Safety Event A Success
During the campaign, the Moorestown and Mount Laurel police departments gave tickets for free pizza to kids who were doing the right thing.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown police are thanking members of the community for making their inaugural Slices 4 Safety a success.
During the campaign, officers handed out tickets to children they saw riding bikes with helmets, using crosswalks and sidewalks, wearing seat belts, waiting for rides in well-lit areas, playing outside, and overall just being good kids.
They weren’t normal tickets; these are good for one free slice of plain pizza. It was an initiative by the Moorestown and Mount Laurel police departments.
