Moorestown Police Nab Fugitive During Shoplifting Incident

Patrice Robinson was charged with shoplifting from Boscov's and being a fugitive from justice on Thursday night.

Moorestown, NJ -- What started as a routine shoplifting incident led to the apprehension of a fugitive from justice and the turning over of two children to protective services, Moorestown Police said on Friday.

Patrice Robinson, 32, of Bristol, PA., and Micques Jennings, 34, of Magnolia, were both charged with shoplifting from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall on Thursday night.

Robinson allegedly stole merchandise worth $84.95, and Jennings allegedly stole merchandise worth $201.92.

During the investigation, police also discovered that Robinson was a Fugitive from Justice

of the State of Pennsylvania, and charged him accordingly. He was remanded to the Burlington County Jail on $7,500 bail.

Jennings was released on a summons.

Two young children that were with the defendants were turned over to Child Protective Services.

Police also issued information on the following two incidents Friday morning:

Lawrence Dunn, 31, of Marlton, was charged with shoplifting on Jan. 30. Dunn allegedly took men’s clothing, luggage and accessories worth a total of $370.98 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $2,500 bail.

Andrew Colavecchio, 29, of Haddon Township, was charged with theft by deception on Feb. 4. Colavecchio allegedly stole merchandise from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall and exchanged it for a $176.98 store credit. He was released on a summons.
