Moorestown Police to Participate in Unity Ride in May
The Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club recently made a $500 donation to the officers who will participate.

Moorestown, NJ -- Five Moorestown Police officers will participate in this year’s Police Unity Tour, a three-day ride that honors police officers who have died in the line of duty.
The annual charity event takes place across the nation. New Jersey police participating in the ride will depart from North Jersey.
The ride concludes with a ceremony at the Policeman’s Memorial located in Washington, D.C., during Law Enforcement Week in May.

The Memorial has the names of all police officers killed in the line of duty across the country, including two officers from Moorestown.
Each officer that participates is required to either raise or pay $ 1,500 each to participate. The money benefits the Unity Tour and the Memorial to help with expenses and scholarships for the family of the fallen.
