4 Moorestown Veterans Will Be Honored During Baseball Field Rededication Saturday
The ceremony starts at 9 a.m. at Memorial Field and everyone is welcome to attend, one of the organizers of the event tells Patch.

MOORESTOWN, NJ – Moorestown will rededicate its Little League Ballfields at Memorial Fields on Saturday in memory of four local men who lost their lives in the line of duty during the Vietnam War, one of the event's organizers told Patch.
The four honorees are Howard Mayer, George S. Yohnnson, Roger A. Ross and W. Phillip Seel Jr., according to Lenny Wagner, who besides helping plan the event, is also a member of Moorestown's Recreation Department.
Perhaps Saturday’s event can raise awareness of Mayer, Yohnnson, Ross and Seel's actions among younger generations, he mused.

“I would like to raise awareness of the sacrifices that these men made and why the fields are named Memorial Field,” Wagner said.
The rededication ceremony starts at 9 a.m. and is open to the public, he added.
