UWGPSNJ is governed by a Regional Board of Directors which oversees six local boards across the region. These local operating boards are the backbone of United Way’s volunteer structure and are responsible for the development and implementation of local Impact agendas, campaigns, community engagement and volunteerism for the communities they serve.
The dedicated volunteers who sit on United Way’s boards represent the business community, organized labor and public and nonprofit sectors. These individuals are leaders in their fields, bringing experience, creativity and passion for helping strengthen communities throughout the region.
