To the Editor:
Watch out! President Trump is holding doctor’s hours again, even though he keeps saying, “I’m no doctor, but….” His last medical pronouncement to inject disinfectant and introduce ultraviolet (UV) light into the human body was a doozy. The company that manufactures Lysol immediately issued a strong warning “…under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body….” With ultraviolet light, experts have long warned that ultraviolet lamps can harm humans if used improperly. The link between ultraviolet light and skin cancer is well established.
“What do you have to lose?” is another President Trump favorite statement. The answer: your life. For weeks, he has touted an anti-malarial drug combination to kill coronavirus. A couple in Arizona tried a variant. The Arizona man died and his wife was hospitalized. Lone wolf medication is dangerous.

The FDA is running a legitimate trial within Veteran Administration hospitals. Results to date show a severe risk of heart rhythm problems. The FDA states that these drugs should only be taken under hospital care.
Doctor Trump is batting zero. Considering his Looney Tunes ideas, is it time to stay in the Oval Office while real scientific and medical pros, like doctors Fauci and Birx, run the daily White House coronavirus status briefings? Is President Trump past his “sell-by date?”
