MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club recently donated $1,000 to the Nam Knights of America, the club announced. The Nam Knights serve those who fought for our country. At the same time, Nam Knights of America - Delaware Valley Chapter President Brit (Sarge) Henderson and Moorestown Patrolman George Hubel spoke about the Nam Knights and the Police Unity Tour.
Henderson spoke about the history of the Knights. In the summer of 1989 a small group of Harley-riding Vietnam War vets who were also police officers formed the group.
Jack Quigley, now retired Undersheriff of The Bergen County Sheriff's Department, founded the New Jersey Chapter. He served as a platoon sergeant with the 11th Motor Transport Battalion, First Marine Division.

"The club was formed to recapture the brotherhood its founding members shared while serving in Southeast Asia, and to help other veterans of all wars who are unable to help themselves,” Quigley said. "The Nam Knights Motorcycle Club continues to grow and thrive due to the extraordinary dedication of its members, their families and our benevolent supporters."
