Moorestown Rotary Clubs To Host 40th Annual Pancake Breakfast

The breakfast is Sunday, Oct. 23, 8 a.m.-noon in the Moorestown High School cafeteria.

Moorestown, NJ -- The Moorestown Rotary breakfast and lunch clubs will co-host their 40th annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 23, 8 a.m.-noon in the Moorestown High School cafeteria.

"This breakfast has been a long tradition in the local community bringing together many generations and residents from all walks of life, and is a way for both clubs to give back to the community" Rotary Club Past President Scott Aschoff said.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door. They are $3 for children under 10 years old. For advance tickets, contact Scott Aschoff at scott.aschoff@icloud.com.

This year the Rotary clubs have funded many local individual charities with proceeds from this and other events including:
  • YMCA - Camp No Worries
  • Moorestown Citizen of the Year
  • 160 backpacks filled with $7,000 of supplies for 2 decades for students in town
  • Power up Gambia - Solar Panels
  • Curing Polio via Rotary International
  • Navajo Nation Clean Water Program
  • 2 AED's for the practice fields in Moorestown
  • American Cancer Society - Relay for Life
  • Burlington County Sheriff - Project Lifesaver
  • Moorestown Police Department - Police Unity Tour
  • Kwempe Sewing Project
  • Community Treatment Solutions, and
  • Pledges to the Moorestown Community House over five years to help refurbish the building.

The clubs are non-profits.
