Following a loss in the second game of the season, the Moorestown High School softball team has won seven consecutive games, and is 8-1 after nine outings.
Most recently, the Quakers defeated Northern Burlington 1-0 Saturday morning. Photos from that game were submitted and are attached to this post.
Moorestown defeated Cinnaminson, 4-3, in the first game of the season before falling to New Egypt, 2-0, on April 3. Moorestown rebounded with a 10-0 win over Maple Shade, and also owns victories over Rancocas Valley (2-1), Riverside (10-4), a second win over Maple Shade (4-1), Cherry Hill East (6-2) and Holy Cross (3-0).
The Quakers return to the field Thursday at home against Pennsauken.
