MOORESTOWN, NJ — A Moorestown store manager was arrested Tuesday after police say he secretly filmed two of his underage employees using the bathroom.

Robert McGuire, 39, managed Time After Time in Moorestown Mall. He installed a hidden camera inside a bathroom for store employees, police said.

Authorities searched McGuire's home Tuesday in Willingboro, where they found the electronic device and its SD card. The footage included the victims in the bathroom, police said.

Investigators are examining evidence to see if anyone else was filmed, Moorestown Police Det. Ryan Carr told Patch.

The investigation began Nov. 26, when the victims and their parents went to Moorestown police headquarters to report suspicious activity.

At about 4 p.m. that day, one of the victims noticed a portable device with a blue flashing light on top of the toilet tank, police said. She had seen the device in the past, but the flashing light made her suspicious.

The employee removed the device's silicone cover, revealing a camera with an SD cart slot, police said. She took a video examining the device and sent it to two of her coworkers, who had seen it in there before.

McGuire entered the bathroom immediately after the employee exited it. When he left the bathroom, he appeared nervous and quickly turned around to go back in there, the victim told police.

When McGuire left the bathroom again, he gathered the store trash and left to take it out. He took about 10 minutes longer than usual — enough time to put the device in his car — police said.

Following the investigation, McGuire was charged with endangering the welfare of children (second-degree), possession of child pornography (third-degree) and invasion of privacy (third-degree).

He was placed in the Burlington County Jail.
