Moorestown Students Graduate From Westfield Friends
Graduates from other areas will attend Moorestown Friends School.

Two Moorestown residents and others who will attend Moorestown Friends School were among the eighth graders who were part of the Westfield Friends School’s graduating class on Friday, June 5.
Ava Setter, of Moorestown will attend Moorestown High School.
Dylan Zhou, of Moorestown, will attend Moorestown Friends, as will Lauren Cates, of Mt. Laurel; Ethan Barr, of Cinnaminson; and Neal Shah, of Mt. Laurel.

“The eighth graders write their own graduation speeches and work very hard to refine and rehearse their speeches prior to graduation,” Valerie Parry, Westfield’s 7th and 8th grade English and History teacher, said.
This year’s topics included the meaning of both existentialism and humanism, as well as the challenges awaiting them in high school and beyond.

They spoke of their favorite Westfield memories and best friends and they shared some family stories and introspective thoughts about their own individual personalities, Parry said.
