Moorestown Tops List Of Family Friendly Burlington County Towns

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown is the best town in Burlington County for raising a family, according to one resource.

New Jersey Family, a resource for local parents, has announced New Jersey’s "Best Towns for Families 2017."

Moorestown was the highest ranked town from Burlington County, checking in at No. 108 overall. The town of Clinton, in Hunterdon County, topped the overall list.

The list ranks 511 New Jersey towns "through the lens" of how family friendly they are, from top to bottom

“This year, we reworked our algorithm to take a deeper dive into high school performance while also weighing things like safety, how affordable a town is, average commute time and more criteria that matters to families,” says Cindy Mironovich, New Jersey Family’s publisher and founder.

Although there are no Burlington County towns in the top 100, there are 10 listed between 100 and 200, including:

• 129 Springfield Township, Burlington
• 157 Evesham, Burlington
• 161 Mount Laurel, Burlington
• 172 Medford Lakes, Burlington
• 174 New Hanover, Burlington

• 178 North Hanover, Burlington
• 184 Mansfield, Burlington
• 189 Delran, Burlington
• 194 Medford, Burlington
• 199 Shamong, Burlington
