Moorestown's Annual Fourth of July Parade Marches on Monday

Celebrate America's Independence Day with a march down Moorestown streets.

Moorestown, NJ -- Moorestown celebrates local and national pride on America’s birthday.

The Moorestown Fourth of July Parade returns on Monday morning, July 4, at noon.

The Moorestown 4th of July Parade is an all-volunteer effort by the Parade Committee, which is now registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit.

The parade, revitalized in 2011, caps a celebration that includes the Freedom Lecture Series, a series of lectures and presentations that informs residents about the township’s connection to America’s independence.

There are also poster and essay contests for children in the township, held throughout the school year.
The following roads will be closed between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the parade, according to Moorestown Police:
  • Chester Avenue will be closed between Maple Avenue and Main Street;
  • Main Street will be closed between Chester Avenue and Church Street; and
  • Church Street will be closed between Route 38 and West Second Street.
Officers will be on location to assist with traffic. Drivers should use caution if driving in the area.
