Motorcycle Crash Kills Man In Burlington County: Police

The man was ejected from the Harley Davidson after it ran off the roadway and overturned, authorities said.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — A man was killed when his motorcycle overturned Saturday evening in Burlington County, authorities said.

State troopers responded to the crash at 7:10 p.m. on Route 542 East in Washington Township — a small town in the Pine Barrens. The preliminary investigation found that Mark Rodier was operating a Harley Davidson that ran off the road and overturned, said State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan.

Rodier, 56, of Hammonton, was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation. State Police had no additional information available as of Tuesday afternoon.
