Multiple Charges For Man In Burlington County Vehicle Thefts: Police
A man already in jail faces more charges in Burlington County after a number of vehicle burglaries and thefts, police said.
EVESHAM, NJ — Police charged a Camden man with theft and burglary after a number of vehicle break-ins one December night in a Burlington County community.
Evesham Township police said they identified 25-year-old Markel Davis as the suspect in multiple vehicle burglaries and thefts Dec. 12, 2022 on Raymond Avenue and Raymond Court.
Officials charged Davis, who is already in jail on unrelated charges, on a warrant Feb. 7 according to Chief Walt Miller's office. He faces five counts of third-degree burglary, four counts of fourth-degree theft, one count of third-degree theft of a motor vehicle, and one count of fourth-degree tampering with evidence according to Evesham Police.

Evesham police are still investigating, and ask anyone with information on related thefts to contact the department at 856-983-1116.
A man with Davis's same name, age, and city of residence was charged in Bordentown in late January with stealing catalytic converters from school buses, according to police there. Evesham Police were not able to confirm if the incidents were related.
