MOORESTOWN, NJ — National Ice Cream Day is this Sunday, and there's no shortage of ways to celebrate the dairy delights around Moorestown.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan signed legislation declaring July 15 as "National Ice Cream Day." Although the resolution only proclaimed the unofficial holiday for that year, fans of the treat continue to recognize it annually on the third Sunday of July.
