New Affordable Housing On The Way In Moorestown

The units will be set aside for those who qualify.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — An apartment complex is taking applications for new affordable housing residents through May 17 in Moorestown.

The "Pearl Apartments" will be located at 1501 Nixon Dr. #100 and have 75 units set aside for those who qualify under the New Jersey Fair Housing Act.

One, two, and three-bedroom spaces will be offered at the very low, low, and moderate-income levels. These rates range from $478.29 to $1,638.12 per month, according to the Township of Moorestown.

There is no fee to submit an application. A lottery randomization of all accepted candidates will be held on May 18 at 1 p.m.

Preliminary applications that are entered after May 18 will be added to the applicant group in the order they are received.

Those looking to apply for purchase or rent can do so on the "Triad Associates" website.

The first units are estimated to be ready for move-in by August.
