New Italian Market On The Way In South Jersey

Cheeses, pasta, meats, and bakery creations are all done on-site.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A New York-based Italian market is making the jump into South Jersey.

"Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace" will call the East Gate Square shopping center home in late 2027.

The store's official location will be listed at 1311 Nixon Dr.

Along with the addition of a location in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, the chain will be made up of 16 stores.

"New Jersey has been very good to us, and we continue to see opportunities there," Carl DelPrete, CEO and co-founder of Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, said. "Moorestown gives us a chance to reach customers in South Jersey and continue growing in a market where people already know Uncle Giuseppe's."

The market currently has locations in Tinton Falls, Morris Plains, and Ramsey.

Uncle Giuseppe's, which first opened its doors in 1998, is known for store-fresh food options, such as homemade cheese and pasta, in-house bakery creations, and more.

According to Food Trade News, the Moorestown location will also offer catering.

Both of the new Philadelphia-area locations have already begun hiring online.
