MOORESTOWN, NJ — The new Moorestown Council will hold its first action meeting Monday night, preceded by its first closed session meeting of the year.

Council will hold a closed session meeting to discuss personnel issues at 6:30 p.m. Monday night. It will hold an official action meeting about an hour later, at 7:30 p.m. Only the action meeting is open to the public.

It will be the first time council meets since Sue Mammarella, Jake Van Dyken, Dave Zipin, and Quinton Law joined the council earlier this month.

Mammarella was sworn in as Deputy Mayor, while Nicole Gillespie — the lone incumbent on the five-member, all Democratic council — was sworn into her second term as mayor. Read more here: Social Justice Advocate Appointed To Moorestown Council

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the meeting will be held virtually only. Members of the public can participate in the meeting just the same as if at an in-person meeting. The mayor will open the floor for public participation in accordance with normal protocol.
