NJ Boating Safety Classes and NJ State Police Certification in Moorestown

Classes are at the Brandywine Facility, 1205 North Church Street, (Corner of Albany Rd.), on June 20 and 22.

Moorestown, NJ -- A two-day course on New Jersey Boating Safety and State Police Certification will be held on Monday and Wednesday, June 20 and 22, 6:30 p.,m.-10:30 p.m. at the Brandywine Facility, 1205 North Church Street (Corner of Albany Road) in Moorestown. Students must attend on both nights.

The “Boat NJ” course meets the State of New Jersey - Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement requirements for boat safety education. The NJ Boating Safety Classes are approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and are recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard.

All boat and Jet Ski operators must have the New Jersey Boating Safety certificate since June 2009. This course meets the NJ State law requirements for NJ Boat Safety Certificate. These laws apply to all boaters age 13 and older who operate power vessels, boats and jet ski.

There will be a $75 fee which covers the cost of the course, certification and all materials. No checks will be accepted; cash only.

Certifications will be given upon completion of course. Permanent certificates from NJ State Police Marine Service Bureau from West Trenton will be mailed.
