CHERRY HILL, NJ —Congressman Andy Kim (D-NJ-3) helped local Girl Scouts earn a new patch as they sold cookies at Moorestown Mall.

The scouts from Troop 28105 can now sew on a "I Sold Cookies To A VIP" patch to their vests; Girl Scouts can own this patch by selling cookies to well-now people in the community.

Congressman Kim bought a variety of cookie flavors at the booth, according to a news release from The Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey.

"Girl Scouts grow young leaders' passion for service while also teaching them critical skills through the Girl Scout Cookie program – the largest entrepreneurship program in the country. I am incredibly proud to support the Girl Scouts and look forward to seeing the girls I met today grow into the future leaders of the world."

The Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey will celebrate National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend this weekend, offering contactless, same-day cookie delivery through a collaboration with DoorDash, a news release said.
