Ann Burke Butler, age 79, of Moorestown, NJ entered eternal life on September 1, 2016.

Ann Burke Butler, age 79, of Moorestown, NJ entered eternal life on September 1, 2016.
Ann was born in Jersey City, NJ on August 4, 1937 to John and Agnes Burke. She was a member of St. Paul’s Parish and attended high school at the Academy of St. Aloysius, where she earned many awards for academic excellence.
She went on to study at Seton Hall University, where she earned her teaching degree. After moving to Monmouth County to raise her family, Ann was employed by the Ocean Township Board of Education and went on to teach for more than 25 years at the Wanamassa Elementary School.

Throughout her life and particularly following her retirement, Ann’s great passion was to travel. While she and Noel logged countless frequent flier miles as they travelled the globe, given her heritage, she especially enjoyed her many trips to Ireland.
Ann is survived by her beloved spouse of 58 years, Noel B. Butler; daughters, Noel Savini (Daniel), Bernadette Baumgardner (John), Ann Marie Butler; grandchildren, Ryan and Amanda Savini, Brendan Baumgardner; sisters, Mary Drury, Bernadette Lish (Bob); brothers, John (Jack) Burke (Jane Sexton, Fiancee), Thomas Burke (Barbara); and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Monday, September 12th from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 12th at the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, 42 West Main Street, Moorestown, NJ.
Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann’s name may be made to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, 42 West Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057.
The family wishes to express its gratitude to the many wonderful caregivers at CareOne Harmony Village and to those at Samaritan Hospice who cared for Ann with patience, grace and love.
