Obituary: ​Evelyn Rosanne Frintner

​Evelyn Rosanne Frintner (née Gallmeyer), 93, of Mount Laurel NJ (formerly of Belle Mead) passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospice.

Evelyn Rosanne Frintner (née Gallmeyer), 93, of Mount Laurel NJ (formerly of Belle Mead) passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly on May 22, 2017. She is survived by her children Janice Jost, Joyce Poff, James Frintner, and Valerie Schonewald, along with her beloved eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Evelyn grew up in Jersey City, where she met and later married her husband Fredrick Frintner. She attended the renowned Katherine Gibbs School and worked in Manhattan during the World War II era.

She later served for many years in administration for the Montgomery Township (NJ) and West Windsor-Plainsboro school districts and the American Boychoir School, where she won the hearts of her colleagues and students alike.

She and her husband were founding members of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Kendall Park, NJ. Following her retirement, she and Fred continued with volunteer work in hospitals and American Legion youth programs.

Service will be private at Lewis Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Hospice, St. Matthew Lutheran Church (Moorestown, NJ), or Popcorn Park Zoo (Forked River, NJ).
