Obituary: John Favorite

John (Jack) Favorite, 69, of Moorestown, NJ passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 15, 1945, the oldest son of the late Miriam & George Favorite.

A graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia and the Royal Academy of Arts in London, Jack worked in and around the acting profession for most of his life, not only in many amateur productions but also professionally in movies such as Capone and Death Race 2000. He was not only an accomplished actor but also made a name for himself as a director in many amateur productions in the Delaware Valley. In more recent years, Jack taught English at Atlantic City Community College.

Jack is survived by three brothers, Paul Favorite of Holland, PA, Rob Favorite of Watford City, ND, and Tim Favorite of Brookline, NH, his good friend Catherine Busby of Burlington, NJ as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 10:30 am Friday at Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. Viewing 9:30- 10:30 am at the Funeral Home. Interment Colestown Cemetery.
