Obituary: Joseph M. Kruder Jr.

Joseph M. Kuder Jr. died on Aug. 10, 2016, at the age of 94.

Joseph M. Kuder Jr. died on Aug. 10, 2016, at the age of 94.

Joseph was born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey to Joseph and Laura Kuder.

He attended Lawrenceville Prep School, then went on to receive an undergraduate degree from Harvard University, followed by a graduate degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He enjoyed a satisfying practice in architecture for 35 years.

He was a proud veteran of World War II, and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds he suffered.
Joseph was a longtime member of the Classic Car Club of America.

Hobbies included design and creation of unique jewelry and furniture, along with other innovative projects.
He was an accomplished photographer.

He loved Gourmet cooking, sharing the kitchen with his wife, and enjoyed traveling with her around the country. South Padre Island was a favorite. He was an avid dog lover.

Husband of 67 years of the late Margaret B. Kuder. She preceded him in death in April, 2016.

Loving father of Margaret (Doug) Dunkirk, Karen (Robert) LaRue, and Joseph (Karen) Kuder. Devoted grandfather of 9, and great grandfather of 24.

A celebration of his life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, 101 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown, NJ. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Joseph M. Kuder Jr.
