Obituary: Latvian Immigrant Living in Moorestown Dies Peacefully

Irina Sierp (nee Teterskis) died peacefully on Nov. 20, 2015 at the age of 95.

Irina was born in Tukums, Latvia on Nov. 29, 1919. She came to the United States in 1950 and married Dr. Michael Sierp (who predeceased her in 1992) in Belleville, NJ.

She and her husband lived in East Orange , NJ; Hastings on the Hudson in NY and on Candlewood Lake, New Fairfield, Connecticut .

After retirement she moved to Wayne, Pa. and later Moorestown, NJ to enjoy her family and grandchildren.

Mother of Susan (Kirk) Lis and Olivia (Richard) Boswell. Grandmother of Brittany Boswell, Ryan ( Briana) Boswell, Kirsten, Evan & Cassandra Lis. Sister of Juris Teterskis. Aunt of Eugenia Lubell & Carl Teterskis.

Funeral service is Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St. Moorestown, NJ .

Viewing is Tuesday, 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, Pa.
