Obituary: Margaret Donoghue

Margaret O’Donoghue (Peggy) Casey, of Moorestown, NJ, died on October 27, 2016, at the age of 86.

Peggy was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Colton, and her siblings, Joseph, Helen (Bunty) and Angela (Tish). She is survived by her sister, Ann Casey, her children, Elaine (Patrick) Boyd, Sally Ames, E. Colton (Jane Sepe) O’Donoghue, J. Clark (Marilyn Buckley) O’Donoghue and Meg (Terry) Brophy, and 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Peggy was a devoted wife and mother active in her church and community. She enjoyed her membership on the Woman’s Board of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Peggy attended Marywood Academy and Marymount College in Tarrytown, N.Y.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 West Main Street, Moorestown, NJ on Thursday, November 3, 10:30 a.m.

Burial will be at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton, PA, on November 4.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road b, Bethesda, MD. would be welcomed.
