Obituary: Stephen K. Schurer

Stephen K. Schurer, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on April 21, 2017, at the age of 52. Stephen was a graduate of Lower Moreland High School, Class of 1982, and received his Bachelor’s degree from Eastern University in St. David, Pa. He had worked as a CPA for Innovative Communications in Conshohocken for over 20 years.

Stephen spent many years coaching various sports in Moorestown and loved watching his children compete. Husband of Brenda (nee Griffith). Father of Amy, Daniel, JD and Tommy Schurer. Son of Manfred Schurer and the late Gloria. Brother of Michael and James (wife Christine). Son-in-law of Ron and Carol Griffith.

Brother-in-law of Sharon and Andy Esche. Uncle of Jessica, William, Kathleen and Christian. Nephew of Fritz Schurer. Also survived by his cousins Kathrin and Falko Braeunel and the Noetzold and Schramm Family in Germany.

Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at The First United Methodist Church, 446 Camden Avenue in Moorestown, NJ. Viewing is Wednesday evening, 6 p.m.- 8p.m. at the Church. Interment will be private.
