Obituary: Thomas A. Brown

Thomas A. Brown, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, died on July 26, 2015 at the age of 83.

Husband of the late Beverly Brown for 49 years; Father of Dan (Barbara) Brown of Cherry Hill, NJ and Robert (Nancy) Brown of Lexington, MA. Also survived by six grandchildren Shelby, Shannon, Hannah, Jenna, Audrey and Abigail.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, later residing in Mt. Laurel, Tom was a member of the Ferko string band for over 70 years. After serving in the Army, Tom had the opportunity to work for AT&T before retiring 35 years later. He had a passion for animals and provided love and support to several rescue dogs over the years.

Funeral service is Wednesday, July 29, 10 a.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St. Moorestown, NJ. Viewing is 9 a.m.-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
