Ocean City Field Hockey Team Defeats Moorestown to Reach State Final
The Red Raiders defeated the Quakers, 1-0, in the semifinals, according to nj.com.

Throughout the high school field hockey season, Ocean City and Moorestown have been among the best teams in the state.
Each team was undefeated for much of the season, with Moorestown entering the Central Jersey Group III playoffs as the top seed and Ocean City entering the South Jersey Group III playoffs as the No. 2 seed.
Each team won their sectional title before facing off in the Group III state semifinals on Wednesday.

Rialee Allen scored the only goal of the game in the first half to lead Ocean City to a 1-0 win over Moorestown Wednesday night, according to nj.com. The goal came off an assist from Lauren McNally.

The Red Raiders overcame 12 saves from Quakers goalie Sabrina Barakat.
The Red Raiders improved to 22-1, and will face Warren Hills for the Group III state championship on Saturday. Warren Hills defeated Northern Highlands in the semifinals, 6-1.
Moorestown finished the season with a record of 18-3.
Ocean City won the South Jersey Group III title by defeating Mainland 8-0, followed by a 13-0 win over Central Regional. The Red Raiders won the sectional title with a 1-0 win over previously undefeated Hammonton.
Moorestown scored back-to-back 7-0 wins over Hamilton West and Burlington Township before a 3-2 win over Wall in the sectional final.
