Over 20K Without Power In Burlington County Thursday

Burlington County continues to recover from the storm that hit New Jersey on Wednesday.

Over 20,000 Burlington County residents remained without power Thursday morning in the wake of a storm that devastated New Jersey.

Nearly 7,000 Atlantic City Electric customers were still without power as of 9 a.m. To track Atlantic City Electric outages, click here. Over 14,000 PSE&G customers were without power. To track PSE&G outages, click here.

The Moorestown Mall was open on Thursday after it closed early during the storm. There were fewer reports of downed trees and power lines on Thursday. The following traffic impacts were reported in Burlington County, according to 511nj.org:

  • As of 8:29 a.m., there's a malfunctioning traffic light on Route 68 in both directions at CR 670/Saylors Pond Rd in Springfield Twp. All lanes open to traffic use caution.
  • As of 8:29 a.m., there are delays on Route 73 southbound from Route 38 in Maple Shade Twp to CR 544/Evesham Rd/Marlton Pkwy in Evesham Twp due to volume.
  • As of 8:28 a.m., there are delays on Route 73 northbound from CR 544/Evesham Rd/Marlton Pkwy in Evesham Twp to Route 38 in Maple Shade Twp due to volume.

The most snow in the county fell in Cinnaminson, which saw 9.5 inches on Wednesday. Here's a list of snow totals recorded by the National Weather Service in Burlington County on Wednesday:
