'Overwhelming Response' To Moorestown Clothing Drive
The township was helping a family of six that lost everything in a recent house fire.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown Council sent out the call and you responded. According to Township Clerk Patricia Hunt, the township received an overwhelming response when it asked residents to make a donation for a family of six that lost everything in a recent house fire.
"Thank you, everyone," the township said in a message to the community. "The clothes drive was an overwhelming success. At this time, the family is no longer in need of clothes. In fact, we had such an outpouring that we were able to reach out to two other Moorestown families that also fell victim to fire. On behalf of the fire victims, please accept our heartfelt appreciation for the outpouring of love and donations."
The township collected clothes for two adult men, three adult women and a child in need. They set up a donation at town hall.
