Pair Of Red Cross Blood Drives Set For Moorestown In January

January is National Blood Donor Month.

MOORESTOWN, NJ - The American Red Cross will host a pair of upcoming blood drives in Moorestown as part of National Blood Donor Month. Those blood drives will take place as follows:

  • 1/21/2019: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Moorestown Community House, 16 E. Main St.
  • 1/25/2019: 2 p.m. - 7 p.m., St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 318 Chester Ave.

January is one of the most difficult times of the year to maintain a sufficient blood supply for patients, according to the American Red Cross.

Busy holiday schedules, extreme winter weather and seasonal illnesses often impact donor turnout this time of year.
