Pancake Breakfast, Comedy Night To Benefit Moorestown Rotary Club

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Rotary Club has a pair of fundraisers on tap for November. First up will be the annual pancake breakfast, followed by an adults only comedy night at the Community House.

The club will host its 42nd annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 4, 8 a.m. to noon at the Moorestown High School cafeteria. Tickets are $5 for adults in advance, and $6 at the door. Tickets for children under 10 years old are $3. Contact any club member for advance ticket sales or purchase tickets online here. The breakfast is sponsored by Bayada Home Health Care and Wawa.

A few days later, Soul Joel presents Comedy Night, sponsored by the Moorestown Rotary Club. Featured comedians include Tracy Locke, Mike Somerville and Joel Richardson.

Tracy Locke has been performing as a professional comedian for over 12 years, from sold out shows at Radio City Music Hall to comedy clubs across the nation, according to her website. She has hosted television, live events and award shows as well as corporate team building.

Michael Somerville wrote and hosted the reality show “Wingman”, imparts humorously insightful advice on the Hallmark Channel and has performed standup on The Late Show with David Letterman four times, according to his website. He also serves as a panelist on various programs for VH1, Bravo and The History Channel and spent three years as Glamour Magazine’s renowned dating columnist “Jake.”

The show is at the Moorestown Community House on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or two for $45. All tickets are $30 at the door. They are available at sjpcomedy.com or by calling 908-414-7097. This show is for adults only and it is BYOB.
