MAPLE SHADE, NJ — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on a South Jersey highway Monday night, according to officials.

The person was killed at 11:23 p.m. on Route 73 in Maple Shade, according to the New Jersey State Police fatal crash database.

The crash happened northbound on the highway near Fox Meadow Drive, 6abc reported.
