Man Struck, Killed While Crossing Street In Burlington Co.: Police
Authorities are seeking witnesses to the collision that killed a 77-year-old man.
BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A vehicle fatally struck a man while he crossed the street Monday night in Burlington Township, authorities said.
Frank Gordon Jr., 77, of Willingboro, was unconscious and lying in the street when officers arrived, police said. He was later pronounced dead at a local trauma center.
A white Chevrolet Malibu hit Gordon as he crossed Sunset Road by Rancocas Road at about 10 p.m., according to the preliminary investigation. Police and emergency personnel treated Gordon at the scene. He was then taken to Capital Health Trauma Center in Trenton and pronounced dead shortly after.

The driver, who wasn't hurt, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, authorities said. Police have not disclosed their identity.
