EVESHAM, NJ — About $100,000 in jewelry went missing from an Evesham home, police said. Two pet sitters have since been charged.
Evesham officers responded Dec. 15 to the 30 block of Old Republic Lane for a reported home burglary and theft. The victim told police that someone entered their home and stole jewelry while they were out of town.
Investigators identified the suspects as Catherine Walton and Nicholas Eye, police announced Thursday. They were paid to take care of the victim's pets while they were away, authorities said.
