Acclaimed Philly Doughnut Chain's Food Truck Heading To South Jersey

Federal Donuts has its 1st South Jersey shop in the works. But first, the eatery's truck and doughnut-frying robot will cross the Delaware.

MARLTON, NJ — Before Federal Donuts expands into South Jersey, the acclaimed Philadelphia chain will serve its delicacies across the Delaware for National Donut Day.

The unofficial (but nonetheless delicious) national holiday falls on Friday, when the new Federal Donuts Food Truck will occupy Marlton Square from 7 a.m. to noon, or until it's sold out. The pop-up will feature several donut flavors, sandwiches, coffee and the truck's "donut robot."

Federal Donuts serves doughnuts each day with a changing menu of hot, fresh flavors — along with coffee, fried chicken and chicken sandwiches. The chain has 11 shops — all in and around Philadelphia — but plans to open its first South Jersey location, also in Marlton Square.
