Plant a Tree on Arbor Day In Moorestown
300 tree seedlings will be given away at the Arbor Day Tree Planting.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Arbor Day, the last Friday in April, is a day to celebrate the many benefits of trees by planting a tree. This year’s Arbor Day celebration will take place on April 27, 10 AM, at the Upper Elementary School, 325 Borton Landing Road, Moorestown.
The Upper Elementary children will be participating in the event. Tree seedlings from the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign will be distributed to the public. This event is sponsored by the Moorestown Township Tree Planting and Preservation Committee, the Moorestown Garden Club and Moorestown Township Public Works.
This past winter was just as tough on our tree canopy as it was on us all. Join us on April 27 to celebrate Arbor Day to plant a tree to replace what we may have lost!
