Police Investigate Mid-Day Burglary in Moorestown

A man broke into a home around 1 p.m. and stole an unknown amount of jewelry on April 13.

Moorestown, NJ -- Moorestown Police are investigating an incident in which a man broke into a house on Rosewood Lane and stole an unknown amount of jewelry on April 13.

A man wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, light colored jeans and tan work boots forced a rear door to the house around 1 p.m., police said Friday morning.

He was dropped off and then picked up by what appears to be a newer model black Kia Optima with no front license plate.

The incident was captured on closed circuit television. Photos of the car and the suspect, provided by police, are attached to this post.
